  1. very handy This is a basic birding guide for the most common types of birds of the Gulf coast. the pictures are bright and clear, the descriptions adequate. This will help a birder to separate the common from the uncommon, but doesn’t help with identifying those uncommon birds. It is not designed to do this. The laminated heavy card-stock should hold up well.

  2. Best Field Guide to Carry. For years, I collect this Field Guides wherever I travel. I’m a birder. This is easy to carry and also helps me when I take photos.If I photograph a bird I can always go to this guide and identify the exact bird I took a photo of.Great photos to help you identify the birds.
