Arranging the birds by dominant color is especially helpful since that is the single characteristic that an amateur can easily grasp with a quick look.   3. BOUGHT IT FOR MY DAD… HE LOVES IT!!! My dad, after retiring, built these two bird feeders behind his house. So, when he’s lounging on the patio, being the “outdoorsman” that he professes to be, he is always interested in what birds are snacking at his feeders, and, more often than not, sees a few that he can’t identify.. so, as part of his Father’s Day gift, I gave him this book!
