Great book! I ordered this book because I have “Birds of Colorado,” and love it. When in Colorado I lived on 2 1/2 acres in the country and had all kinds of birds visiting my bird feeders. I was able to find every bird that ever showed up to my feeders in that book. My book is torn and tattered from so much use.
ALMOST perfect Plain and simple, it’s just what we needed. It has excellent photographs and information about native Montana/Montana migratory birds. The only reason I didn’t 5-star it is because there are certain photos of birds (female genders of certain species for example) where the top markings of the bird are not clearly visible, so you cannot tell exactly what type of bird it is. There are only one or two cases like this in the book, though.
This book is very informative. And the full page … This book is very informative. And the full page photos of the birds makes identifying them even easier. My husband and I carry this along with us on camping trips, and if we’re out for a hike, its always in our backpack.
