I have used this book a lot I moved to Northeast FL in 2017, and I only had an old edition of A Field Guide to ID of Birds of North America, which seems to be out of date in several respects. So I bought this Birds of FL a few months ago and have used it quite a bit since. For example, it helped me ID a pair of black ducks and a wood stork just this morning, less than a block from my house. As it only lists birds that might be seen in FL, it can be more compact and easier to search than if it covered a larger area…
Great Information Book has a great deal of information about our local birds, including detailed drawings of both the male and female of the species, unlike some other books that I have purchased with only the male represented.
Looking up birds has never been so easy. I love that there are all the birds … Incredible book! I saw this at family member’s home and had to buy it for myself. Looking up birds has never been so easy. I love that there are all the birds displayed in the first few pages, for quick identification and that they’re all properly categorized.
