  1. Wow!! Back in 2008, I was excited to see this book, but then disappointed to see it go out of print. Now it’s back, and from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology itself!!!   2. Love it! Features male AND female calls Oh, man……what can I say about these books? Gosh, I love ’em! I have had the BIG book (which features 250 different North American birds), and it has been such an excellent resource for me – plus, my 7-year-old has been listening to it and looking at it since she was about two years old, and it’s helped foster her fascination for ornithology, as well.   3. Wonderful book for bird lovers I’m so glad this book is back in print! One was given to us years ago and we refer to it often, especially with the kids, who have memorized many of the calls. Funny enough, our male cockatiel has memorized some of the calls too! His imitation of the whip-or-will call is so good you can hardly tell if it’s the book or the bird!
