Solid, well built, but splinters. Good, solid birdhouse. Seems well built and sized. Comes with a screw for mounting. Front opens for easy access. The only negative I notice is that the wood is rough and feels like it could easily splinter. Could use smoothing with sandpaper before the birds move in. I plan to put this on a tree outside my living room window so I can see the birds – if they use it. Hoping it’s not too late in the season.
