Pretty much looks just like the picture Pretty much looks just like the picture. Painted the front and back, left the sides the original distressed paint. No clean out, but will take the roof off to clean. Not a fancy bird house, but will do the trick. 3 separate compartments, good size, and weight. We like the way it looks….sort of austere. To be clear…it looks like the distressed birdhouse Amazon depicts. The “L” clamps needed to mount to post were purchased separately.
