VERY NICE wren house I purchased two of these: one for a gift and one for myself. What “sold” me on this house was the design of the easily removeable floor, the small holes on the side (for ventilation) and the hanger being attached at front and back instead of in the center. This feature (to me) will help stabilize it. Even though it’s winter, I hung it up hoping the wrens I’ve seen at my suet feeders (and one’s close to the wren house) will find and declare it MY HOME!
Good size for those little birds. Received as I gift I wanted. Wanted a house that could be opened easily to clean out last years little nest. Sturdy, well made and the cleaning slide works well.
Mount in a fixed stable position for protection of the eggs & or baby birds. The Wren house was designed to be hung. I installed this one screwed to a board fence for stability. We love the way it is built for easy clean out at the end of nesting season.
