Fun project and nicely made product. I have thoroughly enjoyed decorating these bird houses. They are a nice size and easy to work with. Well made. I would probably not want to use them for birds — but more for decoration. I’m told that the holes are really too large for the birds to use and they are not heavy duty. One thing missing is a way to hang them. No hardware included such as an eye screw (not sure that’s what it is called). They require a little fine sanding before applying acrylic paints. Decopage works amazingly well…
great for painting Cute bird houses, great for painting. These probably would work as a wren or maybe finch house, though they are on the smaller side.
Great bargain! I used these bird houses as part … Great bargain! I used these bird houses as part of a therapy group for Veterans. They liked painting them and the way that each bird house was different from the others even before painting. Would be nice if included a small screw in type hook for hanging.
