Great feeder for small songbirds This feeder attracts smaller birds and deters larger birds. Birds are able to cling to the sides, which allows many birds to feed at once. Although there is a tray on the bottom of the feeder, it’s too small for larger birds to use. I love it because the larger birds aren’t able to “bully” smaller birds away from the feeder.
Birds love it We use black oil sunflower seed. Have it right outside our window and it is full of birds all the time. Can hardly keep it full
works good for me this works great for me. I hang it on a heavy string and the squirrels can’t get to the seed. The birds seem to be able to access black oil sunflower seed just fine and I don’t notice any more falling onto the ground than any other feeder. It’s much better than many of the more expensive feeders I’ve had in the past. I wish there were a larger size model so I didn’t have to fill it so often.
