Too many peanuts! I am not sure where Wagner’s got the idea that small birds listed on the label eat peanuts. The only birds in Southern California that eat peanuts are the California Scrub Blue Jay and not many of those in Southern California. We have three in our yard in Orange County, California. The end result is a ton of peanuts left in the feeder. The same for the ground up corn which is left in the tray as well.
This birdseed has shells! False advertising. This product is not as advertised. This birdseed has shells! Granted only half the shells, but non the less shells. This is not a “no mess bird feed”. If it wasn’t for the fact that my husband mangled the bag opening it to find out, we would send back.
