Will purchase again. It is hard to say that I love this bird seed blend but I can say that the birds love it. Live in the country and have a large array of birds coming and going in and out of my yard. Purchased this as it is mixed for the southwest bird population. Have a variety of feeders and all are used with this seed. Some birds are permanent residents and some are migrating through the area. Am happy with the results as there are no leftovers – any falling on the ground are also scooped up. Love to…
Not a good buy with lot of low food quality filler in the mix This seed mix is mostly millet or filler seed and includes low food value milo seed. The cracked corn is onlyh a good choice is you want to attract doves, starlings, and house sparrows. The crude fat content is only 4% which is too low to be considered food for birds. Compare the 4% fat content with sunflower chips at 72% fat or peanuts at 73% or Niger thistle seed at 71%.Truly a waste of money at any price.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A TEN! I’ve got doves, woodpeckers, cardinals, sparrows, quail and some other birds I don’t know the names for, and they all love this brand. I use those metal mesh balls and hang where I can see them… the smaller birds who can cling get seeds and then some fall to the ground and the bigger birds (i.e. mourning doves, quail) peck on the ground. I watch them while I ride my stationary bike which makes it more entertaining.
