  1. High quality seed This is a very high quality safflower seed at a reasonable cost. I tried another name brand and the quality wasn’t as good. Chuckanut’s safflower seeds are very clean with virtually no debris. The birds love it and keep coming back. The mourning doves inhale it non-stop! I have ordered this brand for the past few years and the quality is always consistently good. The plastic bag is very sturdy and has a resealable top.

  2. Haven’t seen 1 bird on the feeder yet ! But then…. Not one squirrel as has touched this feed, but neither has one bird. Its been 3weeks. The feeder is still very full, a little has been blowen to the gound from the wind. I’m going to try putting it in a different feeder….but I don’t think thats the problem.Have to up date , because 2 days after I complained about this feed the song birds came ! Some of the prettiest birds ever ! Guess it toom tine for the birds to spread the news, ha !

  3. the cardinals have their very own feeder and they love this safflower seed In my yard, the cardinals have their very own feeder and they love this safflower seed. I also see chickadees and titmice eating it. Bonus, the squirrels hate it! Not a bonus, the voles camp out underground and come out at night to eat what gets dropped on the ground. I hate those plant-root eating rodents…
