Freshness Issue Food does not seem to be fresh, but old. I won’t buy food for my birds that is not fresh, I don’t want what may have sat in a warehouse for too long.
Only a few birds will eat this!! We have 2 large “active” seed Feeders in the Yard. I was going through about 20 pounds of seed a week so I decided to pay for the 50 pound bag and save the hassle of ordering so often. Its been 3 weeks since I bought it, less that 1/3 through the bag now. The only Birds that will eat this seed are the Doves and Scrub Jays. The Sparrows, Finches, Orioles and Black birds have all stopped coming to the feeders now that this seed is in them. I’m going to buy some other seed and try…
