  1. adding this to our own mix of wild bird seed – new birds showing up to view from our deck The larger birds love this stuff, can’t keep enough in the feeder for them. We buy all our seed from Amazon; mixing our homemade blend of sunflower meats, cracked corn, safflower seed, white millet, black sunflower seeds and nyjer. Adding this brought more fat-for-energy ingredients for their mating season or for the cold winter time.

  2. Almost perfect… The birds really do love this seed, especially the blue jays. We now have at least 4 blue jays that feed in our backyard every day because of this seed, when seeing a blue jay used to be a fleeting occurrence for us! I knocked it down to four stars because there’s one ingredient none of the birds will eat, even the squirrels leave it on the ground and won’t touch it – not quite sure if it’s the cherries or cranberries though (it’s a red one though). If this ingredient was removed, this would…

  3. Birds love it! There isn’t much to say- it’s great bird food, and the birds around our house (we live in Michigan) love it. Chickadees, Cardinals, and Morning Doves especially.
