With a 30 fl oz nectar capacity, the Perky-Pet 30 oz Best Plastic Hummingbird Feeder plastic hummingbird feeder will assure there’s always enough nectar to go around. If you have lots of hummingbirds in your area, then this is the feeder for you! The wide mouth opening on the bottle means that it’s easier to fill and clean. The 6 feeding ports all have built in bee guards to keep those pesky bees away. The built in ant moat can be filled with water to keep ants off the feeder and out of the nectar. This feeder comes with a free 1.3 oz packet of instant nectar concentrate, which makes 8 fl oz of nectar! The easy to clean base comes apart and every nook and cranny can be scrubbed to make certain your hummingbirds only have the freshest of nectar. Can’t find anything wrong-except I have had multiple feeders in sun, shade and howling wind and no problems w them leaking. As for being unable to see nectar level because of containers’ red color I have zero difficulty with that also. After having two for a month and rotating locations it seems hummers DO prefer the clear glass feeders (# 209B) vs red colored plastic feeders. I…
Large capacity, poor design. I purchased this feeder a few months ago because it was large and wanted a feeder that would provide nectar for the longest period of time. Changed the red plastic back to the clear glass and now the birds have…
