NOT RED GLASS There are a few people here who made statements like “the red glass looks pretty”. Well its not red glass. It is CLEAR GLASS with a cheap cellophane type red coating. The coating will start to come off almost immediately. Like when you pull the price tag off. yes that immediate. Red plastic coating over glass…eventually it starts to flake off Like the 16-oz. size. I can go 5-8 days without refilling it. It’s a red glass (not a coated clear glass) and looks quite nice (vs. the cheap-o plastic feeders). Oh…and it doesn’t leak. Nothing to dislike at this feeder…and the hummers sure do love it!
Color strips/wears off! Yes, the warning about color given by other reviewers still holds true.
