The whole feeder disassembles and reassembles easily so cleaning is quick and easy I much prefer feeders that allow hummers to perch while they feed, they tend to stay much longer. Yellow rubber inserts – remove them or cut them down before you put it up. I really like this hummingbird feeder size/shape/no leaks but more importantly the hummingbirds do. Simply the best out there for the price Way better design and construction than perky-pet. Easier to fill, doesn’t leak sugar water all over everything (which is a welcome mat for unwanted bug types), better perch for birds to rest and drink. Some reviews mention that it’s more challenging for the birds to learn to access, but we found no problem.
