I bought this and a big red ant Trap-it Moat … I bought this and a big red ant Trap-it Moat most..this was definitely the prettier one but it was so small and did not work on these dang Texas ants..I am posting a couple of pics of the two to compare

Lovely, but didn’t keep larger ants out It’s lovely, and well crafted, but didn’t keep ants off the hummingbird feeder, or out of the nectar. It may work for tiny ants – which we had a slew of last month, but they left on their own. I installed this moat as instructed, with oil, a clean feeder and fresh nectar, but after three days there were a new group of dead ants inside, and always a couple on the outside.
