Perfect replacement for the Best 1 feeder I’m really glad I could just buy the bottom part so I didn’t have to buy a whole new feeder. I like to minimize “waste” and repair when I can. Our hummingbird feeder took a dive — I’m not sure why — but the bottom part broke and the glass bottle was still intact. We live in a hot and sunny area, so plastic tends to degrade within a few years, so it wasn’t that much of a surprise. I think we’d had the feeder five years or so. Hummers love it. This is the one most likely to be empty or low because the hummers seem to prefer it. You will need a small funnel to fill it. It doesn’t have bee guards or an ant moat. But it is one they like. There is a perch but often they just hover. This is the second one I’ve had. I had to order a new one only because I unwisely left it out and it froze causing a hairline leak. My bad!

This replacement fit the bill and we are now back in business offering nectar juice to the local hummingbirds without nectar juice draining out to the ground. So pleased to have found this product.
