High-low enigma The shepherdâs hooks are a nice weight and very pretty where they swirl, but I was hoping they would be taller once in the ground. I wanted them for bird feeders, but put the birds in danger since they are shorter than expected. I should have read the description more carefully and realized that 6 inches of their height would be below ground. Will use them for outdoor patio lanterns instead. Since the mistake was mine, I gave them 5 stars.
Couldn’t have asked for more I live in the desert, where the dirt is like concrete. I broke my first hook because i was unaware of just how hard the ground was; however; once i figured it out, i must say the hooks are study and hold strong in the ground. I actually just ordered another one. Even in high wind conditions, the post barely moved. Great for the price.
great very sturdy, stays put in the ground and looks great with my hummingbird feeder on it. u wont be disappointed.
