Worked for me. Product parts are all heavy construction and I really like the screw in base. The pole does not lean or wobble at the joints and the height is what I wanted for hanging the two finch food and platform feeders I made. The only problem I have is screwing the base into the ground. Last year these bases screwed right into my hard clay soil without any problems but then we had sufficient rainfall to keep my soil moist. Excellent — Sturdy and attractive As noted by others, this is a sturdy pole. It went into the ground easily, which didn’t seem likely when I looked at the insertion end. But there are two holes in that end through which you put one of the arms, then it screws into the ground easily.
