Good anchor –especially if “modified” This anchor was exactly what we needed for our bird feeder atop a 14 ft pole. I placed the first segment of the pole in the center of the anchor and hammered it deep into the soil. I then placed a hollow aluminum pole )with arms) around the grounded center pole. Lastly, placed heavy slate steps around the anchor base to keep the legs firmly in the soil. (A clever person might just want to put it in cement). Not as pictured Not as pictured actually two sets on separate brackets so neither sits even with one on pole
Not very study Unfortunately this didn’t work well without some modifications. The nut is lightly welded to the base and the first one easily broke off as soon as I started tightening making it impossible to tighten onto my pole. The second nut did not break off but the screw is much too short and I had to find another screw to use in order to tighten on to the pole.
