Sturdy and does not move I have a 1 inch bird feeder pole and this fits perfectly. It does not slide down or move at all. I know if it were placed upside down it would not stay in place because of the way the metal turns where it gets attached. I made that mistake with one in the past and quickly realized it was on upside down. As long as this is on the right way, I don’t see how it can fall off, unless the pole is not a 1 inch pole. It’s also very thick and sturdy. I have tons of birds that attack a suet basket…
I like this. It seems to stay where it was … I was looking for a hook to use with my chimes. I like this. It seems to stay where it was put and it is easy on and easy off if required.
50/50 Chance of Being Satisfied or Disappointed I’m conflicted with this review. I’ve ordered two of these. The first works like a charm! It fits tightly and holds a feeder fine. The second just kept sliding down the pole, so I returned it as defective. So, when it works, it works great! But, for me, it’s a roll of the dice as to whether it works at all.
