Use the Pole Section to extend the Ultimate Deck System,The Adjustable Deck Clamp, The Adjustable Deck Clamp, Pole and Hanger to the bottom rail of your deck enclosure for superb stability. The rust-resistant steel construction and durable black galvanized powder coating will stand up to the toughest elements and help keep the birds in your yard happy, season after season. Note – When assembling your pole, applying Vaseline to the engaging parts will prevent them from sticking together over time. Dimensions: 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 by 24 (assembled). I purchased 3 items – the Droll Yankees DCH Adjustable Deck Clamp & 16-Inch Hanger Arm, a Droll Yankees PS Pole Section, and the Droll Yankees DC The Adjustable Deck Clamp – as a set to put a bird feeder on my deck. I purchased the clamp so that I would have 2 – one came with the set, this was the second one. I attached the pole to both the upper and lower railings for more stability. Works with Droll Yankees Jagunda Feeder I used this to increase the height of the Droll Yankees Jagunda Feeder so that I could see it better from my kitchen window. It worked just as I expected. I suppose it may have added a touch more sway to the feeder, but it still seems sturdy enough.
