Solid and works with my feeder pole Solid. Works perfect for the wooden bird feeder I bought. (The Woodland Deluxe bird feeder)And the mount end slotted inside the pole end I already had in the ground. The pole I have is from a previous bird feeder set which I bought several years ago.
Better to have it than not. I bought this to put under a bird house raised up by a pipe for an outside garden. But I couldn’t find any pipe that fit it perfectly and snug, be it copper, PVC or galvanized..
Good for bluebird houses I won’t use it until next spring, but I attached it to the bird house and it seems fine. It will fit into a 1-inch conduit pipe, a little loose, but I can fill in the extra space.
