You may want to try something else I’m big into bird feeding/watching and have gotten my mother into the hobby as well. We have spent a small fortune on feeders, houses, poles, food, baffles to battle the squirrels, etc. There is so much to figure out and we have both learned a lot by trial and error. Item Description Very Deceiving The product is just fine. However, the item description “3 Assorted Colorful Seed Ball Bird Feeders In One Package” is not accurate. When the package arrived there was only one feeder (blue) and when you go to replace an item then the item description changes a bit, “1 of 3 Assorted Colorful Seed Ball Bird Feeders In One Package”. Again, not a bad product but the initial description sounds like you would receive three feeders.
Sturdy; simple assembly; nice features I used a level when pushing it into the ground right next to my patio. The pole comes in 3 sections and one would think each section would fit OVER the one below it to avoid the possibility of water getting in but it is just the opposite—the bottom of each section fits INSIDE the top of the section below it. Also, the paint does flake very easily when attaching the clamps for the hooks and trays but if you are careful, no problem; however, I’m not sure how well the unit will weather over…
