Product is fine if you get lucky with a non-returned item… The actual shepherd hooks works fine for what I need them for (decorative solar lanterns) and weâre inexpensive, however these were clearly a return as they had dirt on them!!!! One was broken – the part that gets screwed together was stripped – but I actually only needed three anyway so wasnât worth doing a return.
READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING This product is not made of steel, nor is it extendable…as is a one-piece retractable item. The poles are hollow, covered in some kind of plastic paint (which is chipping). Each piece has a protruding screw and the pole comes in individual parts which piece together. The shepherd poles I received did not attach easily due to improper threading.
