  1. A practical bird feeder I purchased the Channel Craft – Soda Bottle Bird Feeder in April 2013 and did not install it since I only feed birds during the winter months. I drilled 4 holes on the bottoms of each side of the feeder. The hole size is the same as the side drain holes that come with the unit. This will…

  2. Best tube style bird feeder I’ve found I’ve battled the squirrels for years trying to get them to leave my bird feeders alone. A few years ago I gave up on my tree box feeders, relinquishing them to the squirrels and tried tube feeders for the birds. Didn’t work, the squirrels were all over them too. 3. Nice, but… read about refilling the bottle. Nice but my birds prefer my vertical wired feeder since many birds can feed simultaneously. I made a hole in the bottom of a large yogurt container just the size of my liter bottle opening which I place over the bottle neck opening when refilling with seeds. Although the hole cracked while I was cutting it, it still makes filling a breeze. Be sure to refill while all accoutrements are in the seed bag to contain errant seeds. Do you think I should do a video of my filling technique?
