it’s holding up just fine. Other than the finish on the red one … Only 5 weeks old and the finish is starting to fade away on the red one. Get the gold one, it’s holding up just fine.Other than the finish on the red one these are great feeders. Perfect size.
Piece of crap in cold climates Piece of crap! Looks nice, but poor design for cold climate. I had this for a very short time, and being here in Ohio where it gets cold, the button on the lid to keep it from going up on its own, froze and I couldn’ t open it to put bird seed in. So I was working on trying to get lid off and accidently dropped it on the ground. The plastic that holds the birdseed shattered.
Attractive, easy bird feeder I love this bird feeder. It’s pretty, it holds a lot of seed and it works well. Unfortunately, my raccoons threw it on a rock one night and broke the plastic part. I epoxied it back together and it’s working fine again. Now, I take it in at night.The feeder is great- it’s not a product fault that it couldn’t survive my dexterous little racckies smashing it on a rock.I like how it closes on the top with a tension cord- it works well and is easy to fill.
