  1. Great feeder, the birds and I love it!!! I love this bird feeder!! is it durable, quite large and very attractive. So far it has withstood all that mother nature has thrown at it. Wind, rain, and snow. I usually take my feeders down when hail is expected. It is larger than I expected and can hold lots of seed.   2. Cute, sturdy, neighborhood birds love it! I really love the North States Village bird feeders. I already have the Lighthouse, and the birds in my neighborhood empty it in record time! The Lighthouse holds 8lbs of food, and this feeder (the blue cottage) says that it holds 5lbs of food, so I expected it to be smaller. I was surprised when it arrived that it was larger than I expected it to be!   3. Very cute red schoolhouse bird feeder I bought the red schoolhouse bird feeder. It is very cute. I was able to easily open the top where the feed gets poured into the feeder, but I am not sure how to open the bottom of the feeder which is necessary when it comes time to clean it. I see four red tabs which I thought slide, but they don’t, unless they are stuck. Anyone know how to open the bottom tray?
