good design, but small Very well designed – the birds can get every last seed at the bottom of the feeder, due to a sculpted slippery surfaced “hills and valleys floor on the feeder intereor. The slope delivers the seeds to the cups flawlessly. I also like the removable roof that allows you to pour seed in easily with no spillage. I just wish it were larger, but that is my fault for not being more aware that a 2 pound capacity isn’t much. I would buy it again in a heart beat in a larger size.
Very good design The birds just love this feeder, and the wells in the bottom do assure less waste than most of the feeders of this type. It would be useful to have a larger version, but overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
Birds like the feeding arrangements. A hit with my birds, almost instantly they took to it. Such a change to their squirrel-proof feeder for years. While the squirrel-proof type feeders work against squirrels stealing food from the birds, sometimes the feeder door closes if too many birds are standing on the perch, but with this new feeder, there are no doors to close from eating, and the feeder is so light-weight that the squirrel I saw try it, gave up because of not much to hang onto, and the swinging motion, which doesn’t…
