Who would have thought ordering a simple acrylic bird feeder would be this confusing? I thought this product would go on the inside of the cage – that is the way it appears in the picture. However, the holes and hangers were actually drilled into the top of the feeder at front, not at the back as shown. There were no holes in the top at the front. The only way the feeder can be used is if it were to be hung on the outside of the cage in one of the door openings. What I received is certainly not what is/was pictured. really not worth it! The concept is great. The design sucks ducks! My parakeets couldn’t hold onto the foot rest, because it is way to smooth.Being that I love DIY i tried to wrap in string, glue and ended up cracking the post off. Glued it back on but cut my hand up because the edges were sharp….One purches i wish I’d left to the birds!
Good feeder The bird feeder itself is awesome. I love that it’s clear so you can see how much seed is left and watch the birds as they eat. The problem I had was I couldn’t get the suction cups to stick to the window, so I had to go to the hardware store to buy replacement suction cups.
