  1. Decent, but beware of trapping birds! It is true, birds can get caught in this. The seed does not empty out from the bottom completely, so the one that was trapped in there yesterday had likely crawled in to get the seeds. His wings were spread out on the inside of the opening, kind of like those flared devices you use to hang things from drywall. I don’t know how long he had been in there, maybe even over a day, but I took the feeder down, took the hook out of the top and then removed the plastic portion by taking the cotter pins…

  2. Triple Bin Party Bird Feeder I pondered a long time about getting this feeder because of the review that said about the poor bird that got it’s talon caught in the gap of the feeder. But I got it and had my husband solder those gaps so that won’t be able to happen.   3. Great with one exception! (danger) This is a nice, will made metal and plexiglass unit. The other reviewers are correct in mentioning the DANGER to birds. I love this unit with the exception that the spaces where the metal folds up and comes together at the feeding tray… There is a gap big enough for a birds leg or foot to get caught/stuck.
