I’m so happy with this feeder It works! I bought this to entertain my cat and we’ve gotten plenty of birds in the past two weeks. I’ve had it up for about a month and it did take a few weeks for them to realize it’s there but I’ve finally got cardinals coming to the feeder almost every day. I did read the reviews and knew that I would need more film on the window so the birds wouldn’t see the cat. I bought Gila privacy window film and it works so well. I’m so happy with this feeder! It also stays on with the suction cups…
On the positive side I like that the feeder can be removed from the window … Unfortunately the slit at the bottom is too narrow to allow seed such as safflower or black oil sunflower to flow form the 2 side receptacles into the feeding platform. attempting to enlarge the passage for the seed resulted into cracking and eventually breaking of the material it is made of. Will be throwing it away. On the positive side I like that the feeder can be removed from the window without pulling away the suction cups. I wish all manufacturers would test their products before putting…
