Not bear proof. Iâve got a thing for old lanterns…so this feeder is my favorite! It looks beautiful hanging from my birch tree. I have to keep buying them because the bears keep ripping them down and destroying them. Bears-3, me-0.
This feeder is very cute, but not made to … This feeder is very cute, but not made to last. The globe portion is a thin plastic and gives me trouble every time I refill it, which is almost daily. The product held up for about 3 months before the plastic cracked and the feeder wouldn’t fit back together.
Cute feeder! Adorable bird feeder,as described and delivered promptly. A little tricky to fill as the center piece tilts out and as you fill it it tends to run out the open bird perch side! But once you are aware of that, you can plug it as you fill and you are on your way!
