Great feeder for small and medium sized birds, doesn’t quite work for the really large ones Overall I’m happy with this window feeder. It attaches to the window securely with three suction cups and holds a lot of bird food. The sloping roof and sides keep the squirrels from jumping into it from the stone wall 8 feet away (yes, our squirrels can easily leap that far and have raided many a window-mounted feeder this way). The roof also keeps the food mostly dry when it rains.
Great feeder but needs drainage This feeder arrived on time and packaged very well. As soon as I got it I put the suction cups on it, cleaned a perfect spot on one of my sun porch windows and put it up. I put 2 cups of seed in it ( a mix of black sunflower and safflower) and the feeder holds it perfectly. It took about 2 days before the birds discovered it but once they did there were cardinals, chickadees, nuthatches, titmice and downy woodpeckers on it constantly. … window bird feeders and this is one of my favorite because you can put so much seed in it I have 4 window bird feeders and this is one of my favorite because you can put so much seed in it! The birds came within a few hours of putting it up and we spend countless moments enjoying them. Clean the window really well before putting it up and you’ll never have a problem with it slipping off. I highly reccomend this feeder!
