Like it a lot but…. Watch what you wish for – my old bird feeder broke and I thought “wouldn’t it be great to get a bird feeder I don’t have to fill as often?” So I saw this, with it’s big capacity chamber and it seemed a great idea. Ha!! In fact I now have about 6 times as many birds coming, it’s like JFK air traffic control in my front garden! Which means all those birds rotating onto the perches are eating a lot more food – and the lower the level goes, the more fighting there is amongst the birds…
Great feeder, well-bult, holds lots of seed, looks cool This is the mother of all bird feeders. Very impressive looking. Never heard of this company before and never spent so much on a bird feeder. But I wanted something durable that would feed lots of birds and hold lots of seed. I replaced a much smaller wooden feeder with this and within a day or so the birds took to it. A beautiful invention by Peter Kilham. We were so fortunate to be able to purchase the home of the inventor of this beautiful bird feeder 4 years ago. We inherited quite a few of these that came with the property but decided to add a few more. We have hundreds of birds coming through daily to eat our seed and this feeder is our favorite. It holds a large amount of seed so that we only have to fill it once a week. The only assembly required was to install the metal pegs into the pre-drilled holes. It was very easy to do and we…
