Perfect height The Shepherd hook is exactly what I was looking for as to height. Since I live in the country and it is a very windy area, the lower shepherd hook works better for humming bird feeders as well as regular bird feeders. Otherwise they blow sideways and the nectar or seeds empty onto the ground.
