  1. Great product This is great. In my location properly installed mains would have been a hassle, so thought at £20 this was worth a punt. I bought it to power a small waterfall with a rise of about a foot in a wildlife pond, which it does happily. It does require direct sun, and it’s a modest flow, but it sometimes trickles with a little hazy cloud. I considered one with battery storage, but rechargeable batteries deteriorate in capacity quite rapidly, whereas I expect this will just keep working until it…

  2. Decent fountain with interesting design This product was well packaged and arrived intact. It also works, although being solar it does not have the flow of a fountain powered by electricity. In strong sunlight it is more than sufficiently active, but of course, if the sunlight dims or it becomes cloudy, the activity either diminishes or stops altogether.I have bought two of these, and during the 5-10 days I’ve owned them (two separate orders) there have been no issues.ADDENDUM: I’m now on my second summer…

  3.  Works great, with a little effort! It’s a great little gadget! Those who complain about it not working, or obviously have little knowledge of plumbing :)My fountain initially did the same, coughing and spluttering and stopping altogether. BUT all it took was some commonsense to correct it (though this wouldn’t work in a shallow bird bath). There was obviously an air/water ‘lock’ that the pump was fighting against. I just took the unit out of the water, turned it upside down and shook it (for quite a while) to get all the water…
