A nice birdbath with some minor caveats This is a fine inexpensive bird bath that is not difficult to assemble, but you should have a good selection of screwdrivers and wrenches to make sure everything goes together nice and tight (don’t force though). I have a Verdigris rose bush trainer nearby and they go together nicely. It is absolutely heavy enough not to get knocked over by moderate wind. It does stand more stably on a nice flat grass, paved, or lily-pad circular lawn inset.
Pretty, but where are the birds? This a pretty addition to the yard. Our old birdbath developed a leak and we replaced it with this one. The only problem is that the birds seem somewhat indifferent to it. I wonder if it could be because of the ornamental bird on the top. We’ve had this for several months and the birds still haven’t taken a liking to it. The birdbath seems sturdily made and the wind does not blow it over. Unlike concrete birdbaths, this one is not too heavy to move. I just wish the birds liked it more than they…
DISAPPOINTED It is a look-alike (except it is green and finish on previous birdbath was blue) but it definitely isn’t of the same quality as the one we purchased many years ago. We left the other one outside in NV’s winter weather for years w/o a problem. I question whether this one will last until its first spring.
