it would be great to have I ordered this solar fountain pump because I saw a picture of one that my aunt had, and since I live in the desert of Las Vegas, it would be great to have. It looks very cheap in the small box when you get it. Look at my pic of the results though. This is a solar powered fountain. The solar array is submerged in the bowl of water. It can also float on top of the water. The solar array is only about 8 inches in diameter. Not very big but works well. Must be in full sun. No battery. Will not…
Exactly what I wanted! Love it. This great little pump is doing exactly what I hoped it would. I have a beautiful birdbath in my garden. The birds love to visit it, but I thought it would be even more appealing if I added some movement to the water. The idea of having a cord draping over the edge didn’t appeal, so when I found this one that’s solar powered, I was excited. The casing is made of plastic and there is a film over the solar panels we peeled off. The base has mini suction cups to secure it. The pump is tiny…
Really Nice Feature in Birdbaths I put the solar fountain pump in my birdbath today. I didnât expect much because itâs cloudy and rainy. I went outside at lunchtime and was pleasantly surprised! I had a good flow of about 8-10 inches. It floats around because the little suction cups wonât stick to the rough bottom but never fear I have a plan to add a square ceramic tile in the middle. This will weigh it down and center it just perfect! Iâm excited to see if the birds take to it as much as I have.
