  1. Better than I imagined–the birds love it Better than I imagined–the birds love it. It was easy to assemble and it’s easy to clean. Every morning I use the “jet” setting on the hose to squirt all of the remaining water and debris out of the birdbath, then I refill it. The solar panel works perfectly–it runs when there is direct sun.

The birds don’t care for it When the sun is out (and only when the sun is out) and the solar panel is completely in the sunlight, it has a little bit of action that creates a little bit of sound. Since it is in the sun, the water gets too warm, and I think that maybe… the well that the pump is immersed in… gives the water a different smell or taste…. Suffice it to say I have had it a few weeks now and not one of my dozens of birds will go near it. I even put it next to the old soundless one hoping to encourage use…
