Junk. This product is made of cheap plastic. The birds do not come adhered to the bath. They are separate pieces that have to be connected by a little price of cheap plastic, which break very easily. So then you will be gluing them to the bath. Also there is nowhere to add sand or anything this else to add weight to it. Slightest bit of wind will blow it over. Junk. Don’t waste ur money.
Looks great and price was reasonable Bought this to replace our old cast iron birdbath which weighed a ton (at least it felt like it).This birdbath is very light, yet quite sturdy and resembles a metal birdbath very well.The two birds on it look nice and attract real birds to enjoy the water.This was a great buy and don’t be hesitant to buy one for your house or deck.
I have had this bird bath for almost 8 years … I have had this bird bath for almost 8 years. We are now moving and instead of packing it I will order a new one. The birds are removable – actually I found that I get more birds (real ones) in the bath when the fake ones aren’t there. Also, I have a heater for winter and a jiggler for summer so I don’t need the birds anyway. Yes it is light weight, since it sits in my flower bed I bought small length of metal pipe and hammered it into the ground, since the base is open I just sit it over…
