Just what I needed I first tried another stand that was taller and less substantial. It was not sturdy enough to hold my beautiful glass bird bath, so I went with this low profile model. It holds the bird bath securely and does not detract from the glass bowl. It is stable sitting on the deck and doesn’t move when birds land on it. I am very happy with this purchase. Birdbath Pedestal I received an Ohio State birdbath and needed a pedestal in which to display it. The OSU birdbath is glass and beautiful, so I wanted a pedestal that would allow me to display it in my home. This pedestal was just what I needed.
