Beautiful birdbath. Ugly stand. The butterfly bowl for the birdbath is beautiful. And the birds like it! I put a solar fountain in it and the basin is deep enough for this to be very effective– so, I am very pleased. The stand, however, is junky and I purchased another stand separately from Amazon. If you are going to put this handsome birdbath in a foot-tall stand of flowers– great. But if you are going to put it where the stand will be seen– plan on getting a better-looking, better-built stand.
Beautiful and a good price This is a beautiful solid birdbath. The birds took to it right away and, as another reviewer stated, they do enjoy the lower cross bars of the stand for waiting their turn. For stability in our strong Texas winds, it was fairly easy to push the stand legs into the ground an inch or so. It arrived in secure styrofoam, and was a breeze to assemble. The stand comes in one piece and you just unfold it, then hand-tighten two wing nuts. See photos.
