PERFECT Lovebird and Parakeet Bird Bath This is another one of those “couldn’t find it anywhere things”. Years ago I happened upon this bath in a catalog and purchased two. My lovebirds LOVE them. I had them for so long they were actually falling apart. I finally found them through Amazon and bought four. My lovebirds are great to watch, they both get in at the same time to splash and drink. I watch them while they’re inside and get a real kick out of it. The bath hangs PERFECTLY onto the side of their cage. The opening is just…
Heads up! People need to know that these bird baths are NOT the ones pictured. I ordered four of these and was shocked when they arrived. They are just little tubs that sit on the floor of the cage. I emailed the vendor and got an apology, a refund, and was told to just keep them. So, the vendor is an honest person and wants to keep his customers happy. Amazon (or the vendor?) needs to provide the proper picture so others won’t make the same mistake.
Birds will not go near it Both the birds are deathly afraid of it. Left it on for a while to see if they’d adjust but did not. Also, you will not get a choice in color. Ended up with yellow in a box for a green one and the picture has a pink one. Build quality is cheaper than expected. This will crack and possibly shatter if it falls from the cage. Hooks are thin & flimsy and birds can and will be able to chew it easily. Tub is attached via the dome albeit just a bad. Waste of money.
