Very decent for the price I finally can have a feeder since the last yard cat is gone. I put this up, filled up a feeder with some sunflower seeds, another with a seed mix, and put up a sock with thistle. I only put the top and bottom pieces up, since I didn’t want the whole height sticking up. This is a pretty sturdy feeder system. I was a little worried about pounding it into the really hard clay soil, but I was careful, and it seems very robust It took about 2 weeks for the birds to show up, first some house…
Two recommendations to help make a good product better Overall this is a decent product. The biggest plus is its height. Tall enough to use a squirrel baffle with the bird feeders out of reach of the squirrels. The drawback of height and shipping is that the post comes in three pieces. That means there is wobble in the pole. To minimize that, I used a little electrical tape on the male portion of the connection so the female section slides over it and you get a more secure fit, and cut down on the wobble.
