Somehow should be more stable. Light weight bird bath first thought not to be adequately stable turned out to be a good purchase. Sitting on the ground without any method of attachment to the ground is not recommended. We happened to have some small pieces of bent re-bar and used two or three, driven down into the ground in the decorative holes in the base to secure. The birdbath is now serving the purchase for which it was purchased…to be used by the birds and an occasional squirrel.
