1. Ensure the solar pump expose to bright sunshine directly, so the solar panel can be charged and the water pump can work continuously. When the sunlight is weak, the solar water pump may not as powerful as under the strong sunlight.
2.When the solar panel was shadowed by leaves or there is no sunlight, the solar fountain will still work until the power is run off.
3. Let the solar water fountain work without spray head for seconds to let the air go out of the pump. This is very important, otherwise there might not be high water flow coming out.
4. Please check whether the water inlet of the pump is blocked or the nozzles get clogged.
5. Do not use the solar birdbath fountain in dirty or corrosive water. Change water frequently to avoid any dirt to block the pump.

Beautiful finish and works great! I live in AZ where the sun shines 360 days a year. In the spring I purchased a plastic pond and installed it in the backyard near a seating area. The electrical socket close to where the pond is located is already occupied so I have been looking for a solar pump. Make a Fancy Pond Anywhere!! I love this thing so much it’s ridiculous. I have always wanted to get an galvanized tub and turn it into a “pond.” Now my pond will be fancy. I tested it out in my daughter’s water table until I get my pond prepped for next spring. She really enjoys playing with it. Very easy to put together. I didn’t actually buy this for a bird bath as I don’t have one of those, but I bought it as a sort of sensory experience/bubbler in the baby pool party I hosted for some of the infants in my life. It was just the perfect addition to the water and balls. The only difficulty was that we intentionally put the pool in the shade and so the fountain only worked when we put it in the sun. Duh.
